I’m late posting this due to this step taking longer than expected. Working with such large areas took its toll on my fingertips, so I had to stop before completing all the areas last night. I did manage to get from left to right everything except her left arm. I was tempted to push on and finish that, but blisters were beginning to form, so I let the fingers rest until this morning. Today I did complete the arm, finishing the blocking of all the flesh areas. The nice thing about close-up images like this is even the blocking stage allows me to get quite a few details in. I could almost leave everything as is now, and just detail the eyebrows and nose. But there are a handful of other details I want to get in there, so I’ll take some time with it and finish it up tomorrow…
